Dear pro-Family Virginian,

Our state's real marriage amendment is living on borrowed time.

And thanks to Democrat Attorney General Mark Herring, the real marriage amendment has no legal defense in federal court.

Fortunately, a pro-Family action by the House of Delegates -- H.R. 541 -- would appoint an attorney to defend real marriage all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary.

For this critical resolution to come up for a vote, all that is needed is for Speaker of the House Bill Howell to convene a special session and schedule a vote.

But so far Speaker Howell has not publicly committed to taking the necessary action to get this done.

So why is the most powerful member of the House of Delegates dragging his feet while the clock is ticking?

The fallout of Speaker Howell's inaction could spell the end of real marriage in Virginia.

Just within the last week or so, Kentucky and Utah -- both conservative states -- have had federal courts impose acceptance of so-called homosexual "marriage" on their citizens.

And without your action, I'm afraid Virginia could be next.

That's why it's so important for you to call Speaker Howell right away at 804-698-1028.

Tell him to reconvene a special session to vote on H.R. 541 immediately!

I've already heard from insiders that Speaker Howell is feeling the heat from your calls.

But the only way to make sure Speaker Howell gets the message that we will accept nothing less than an immediate vote on H.R. 541 is to double down!

Please call Speaker Howell at 804-698-1028 right away and tell him to stop dragging his feet and convene a special session for a vote on H.R. 541 immediately!
